Data policy

Last updated: 10 May 2026

1. Scope

This data policy describes how Trado processes information when you use our site, merchant dashboard, APIs, and customer storefronts you host on Trado.

2. What we collect

  • Account: email, name, and sign-in details when you create a merchant account.
  • Store data: products, orders, domains, and settings you add to run your business.
  • Shoppers: checkout and fulfilment details needed to complete orders on your storefront.
  • Device & logs: basic technical data (e.g. browser type, IP) to run and protect the service.

3. How we use it

  • Operate Trado, host stores, and authenticate users.
  • Process payments with our payment partners.
  • Support, debug, prevent abuse, and meet legal duties.
  • Improve the product; we limit profiling to what we need.

4. Sharing & subprocessors

We use vendors for hosting, auth, payments, messaging, and similar work. They get access only to serve those roles. We may disclose if required by law.

5. Retention & security

We keep data while your account is active, then for a limited period or as law and finance require. We use reasonable safeguards; no system is perfect.

6. Your choices

Update much of your data in the dashboard. For access, correction, export, or deletion, contact us. Some data must stay for open orders or legal holds.

7. Updates

We may edit this policy. We will change the date above; continued use after updates means you accept the new version.
